2026 Riverside Park Time Trial

About The Riverside Park Time Trial

July 11–12 | Victoria, Texas

There’s a difference between seeing a car and watching it come alive.

The Riverside Park Time Trial, hosted by the Groesbeck Sports Car Club, transforming one of Texas’ most scenic public parks into a motorsport course. Set against the winding roads and shaded canopy of Riverside Park, the event offers something rare: real performance driving in a setting that feels more like a back road than a racetrack.

Originally scheduled for spring, the event was postponed due to severe weather, a decision made with driver and spectator safety as the top priority. Now, with a new summer date, the stage is set for a full weekend of uninterrupted competition.

At its core, the Riverside Park Time Trial is a 1.45-mile closed-course challenge, where drivers compete against the clock, not each other. No wheel-to-wheel racing, no unnecessary theatrics, just precision driving, clean lines, and the joy of speed.

This isn’t a car show.

It’s what happens when those cars finally get to do what they were built for.

Expect a diverse field, from vintage machines to modern performance cars, all pushing through a technical course that rewards skill over horsepower.

Drivers get meaningful seat time, and spectators get something far better than static displays: cars at speed, engines echoing through the trees, and the kind of moments you can’t replicate in a parking lot.

For drivers, it’s a focused, no-nonsense format built around maximizing track time.

For spectators, it’s a front-row seat to real motorsport in an unexpected place.

And for everyone involved, it’s a reminder that the best days with cars don’t happen standing still.
